The food is pretty good here, not amazing but what you would expect from a diner. Staff is pretty friendly, rarely have to wait for a table even at busy times.

shrimp scampi was barely warmed up in a microwave. my friends burger was microwaved as well. the server was really nice. only reason i left a tip was because of her. employees drinking at the bar. this place used to be really good a couple years back but has gone down hill fast.

This was a terrible experiance. I understand it was busy, however I came in a with a group and sat with them between 2 tables. The waitress never came over to take my order or give me a menu. I waited for 20 minutes, then moved to the bar to be more visible although I was wearing a hi vis safety sweatshirt. I then had to wait for ANOTHER 35 minutes for a waitress to take my order. It then too yet ANOTHER 45 minutes to get my food. When I got it, they had messed up the order. When they went to the kitchen I could hear the cook complaining. No real attempt at an apology was made it seemed like it was a joke to them. Nothing was done to attempt to remedy the situation. I will never eat there again. And I don't recommend it for anyone else either.

Our server Sarah was wonderful. Our guest of honor was 3-years old, and she was able go get our meals out quickly. Food was good, prices decent. I made three meals from my sampler platter!

Used to love this place but today I went and it was dead slow. Still took them over a half hour to bring my table our food. While my food was decent my friends was missing meat on half the sandwich. We asked for ranch and the waitress brought us a container and told us she didn’t know if it was ranch... he sent his food back, not normally something I do, but in this case very understandable. The waitress then ignored us and brought us the check. I had only had my meal for 5-10 minutes. So I asked for a box because it was clear we were no longer welcome.

Had fish and chips. The food was good and waitress was very nice. It was pretty dark in there though and the color of the plates (black) seemed a strange choice. Overall a nice visit. :)

I'm only rating this 1 star. The food is just your average. The staff however is cut up between friendly and miserable.to just rude. One thing that I think is a big power point is would be that it's off putting to hear your server say they wont fo.it or they cant do it. That is ridiculous and below the standards of excellent customer service. You and your kitchen staff should be willing to accommodate any reasonable request, even as mundane as a pancake instead of toast. I wont come back.

Awesome as always! We go there often. We drive up from Portland and then go shopping in the same plaza. The people are just so nice and the atmosphere is just as great.

Gross just gross.If you enjoy food primarily served from cans or a freezer this is the spot for you. There is no thought or care put into anything they serve - a simple breakfast of bacon and eggs was slapped onto a plastic plate with greasy under cooked eggs, bacon that was so brittle it crumbled, a burnt English muffin and crisped up homefries that were somehow still cold. Aside from that the staff was cold, the establishment is unwelcoming and dingy & I have no clue how the fish survive in the nasty unkempt tanks by the bar.The sweet sounds of microwaves beeping as I made my way to the restroom amongst a soaking wet floor should have been my clue. Never again.

They have not been enforcing mask wearing from door to table. Had an unmasked family of three standing next to our booth for a couple minutes. Usually slow service. Food's decent.

This is our favorite regular breakfast joint! I love all-day breakfast places and they take theirs seriously. Great prices, happy people and awesome food! Plus the location makes them a great launching point for adventures in any direction!

Lightning fast service, fresh coffee, and excellent biscuits. The seats are such that you don't feel on top of your neighbor, which is a nice change. Recommend.

Great food. A local standby. I always get the Country Fried Steak and Eggs. Never disappointed. Main problem is that it is popular and there is sometimes a wait to get a table.

A diner with good food. Nothing blows me away but have never been disappointed either.This place has been packed every time I visit so they're doing something right. Probably due to it being extremely cheap.

I love the Fairground! The servers are always very friendly, and the food comes out quickly every time I've been there. I usually get the big breakfast, and never leave hungry.

If you want great food and price. Wonderful service with a smile you need to visit this restaurant. Our favorite place for breakfast. Have had lunch here and liked that as well.

When we went we were told to seat ourselves, we took a table in the center of the restaurant. Two tables came in after us and tended to before we were even handed menus. A couple servers came by and told us someone would be right with us while the tables after us were placing orders and getting drinks.When the food did come, it was hot and tasty, but we were ready to walk out before someone finally took our table. It wasn't even that busy so I'm not sure why no server volunteered to pick us up for more tip money.

The service was fast and friendly but the food was mediocre. I had the breakfast burrito served with a side of home fries. I've had better. The prices were fair and the restaurant was clean, so that's a plus.

A reasonably good restaurant for breakfast, located in the Topsham Fair Mall, off rt. 196 in Topsham. Plenty of seating, with booths and tables. The service is slow if crowded, Maine needs more folks in service type jobs. The breakfast menu offers a wide selection of breakfast items. I usually judge a place by their omelets, which I liked stuffed with ham, peppers, onions, cheese, and other things if available. My omelette earned a 3 out of 5 stars. Needed more of everything in it, but home fries are always under cooked for me.I haven't tried their lunch or dinner, but with so many other better restaurants in the area . . . Reasonably good breakfast place in Topsham for the usual pancakes, omelettes, bacon, toast, that most people would expect, nothing fancy.

Went here 4 years ago and the place was horrid, to say the least. When I arrived it was somewhat busy, tables were dirty, the floor was disgusting and the food was below average.Parking is plentiful and location is great. Food prices are responsible but lacks major flavor. I was directed here by a family member who gave great reviews about it. I should have known this member also has no taste buds so, I should have been suspicious from the beginning. If you are wanting an experience less than satisfactory then this is the place for you.

My dad loves this place! He brought me here on my vacation recently. Our server was weak and unenthusiastic. I've had better service from drive-Thru attendants. Aside from that it had a definite Maine Cafe feel and the lobster roll was spot on!

Great food and plenty of seating. They also have a meeting room for small groups. The food is like home cooking and I've never had a bad meal there. It's right in the heart shapes of Topsham Fair Mall so it is easy to take a lunch break in the midst of shopping.

Service needs help, food came shortly after cheese sticks, and... Although the flavor was good, it was ALL room temp. NOTHING was hot. Having heard nothing but good things... it was a rather disappointing trip, all the way from Chelsea.
